BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 879

DECLARING FRIDAY, 21 FEBRUARY 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE

WHEREAS, on 21 February 2020, Friday, the Province of Marinduque, will mark the centennial celebration of the Araw ng Marinduque; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Marinduque be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 21 February 2020, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Marinduque.
