BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 889

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 1992, AS A SPECIAL DAY THOUGHOUT THE COUNTRY-:

WHEREAS, April 18, 1992, falls on a Saturday between Good Friday™@nd Easter Sunday, both regular holidays;

WHEREAS, the said day, April 18, 1992, may be declared a special day without detriment to public service, to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of the lenten season;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 18, 1992, a special day throughout the country.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety two.
