MALACANAN<jJ Manila WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., was last authorized under Proclamation No. 733, dated May 27, 1991, to !conduct a national fund campaign up to January 29, 1992; : WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind,Inc., needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable goal: NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation. For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, asamended, and its implementing rules and regulations.
