Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 901

DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 29, 2005 A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR AND IN ALL SCHOOLS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) AT ALL LEVELS

WHEREAS, August 28 this year is National Heroes Day;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that this day be given its importance especially by the public sector as well as all schools;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, August 29, 2005 a special (non-working) day in the public sector (except the Bureau of Customs) as well as all schools, both public and private, at all levels, in commemoration of National Heroes Day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, [ have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
