BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 924 DECLARING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2005, AS SPECIAL (NON,-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8803' dated August 16, 2000, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Koronadal ir1to a component city to be known as the City of Koronadal and was ratified on October 8, 2000; WHEREAS, Saturday, October 8, 2005, marks the 5th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Koronadal; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city's history with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, October 8, 2005, as special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato.
