PROCLAMATION NO. 927

DECLARING MONDAY, 16 JUNE 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CAGAYAN DE ORO

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 7670 declared 15 June of every year as Cagayan de Oro City Charter Day and a special non-working holiday in the City of Cagayan de Oro to commemorate the anniversary of the city;

WHEREAS, the City of Cagayan de Oro will mark the celebration of its anniversary on 15 June 2025, which “alls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Cagayan de Oro to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 16 June 2025, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 15 June 2025;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Cagayan de Oro be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 16 June 2025, a special (no1-working) day in the City of Cagayan de Oro.
