• DECLARING SATURDAY, sAPRiL 18, 1987, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

WHEREAS , April 18, 1987, falls on a Saturday between Good Frida¥:and Easter Sunday, both non-working holidays.

WHEREAS, the said day April 18, 1987, may be declared non-working special public holiday without detriment to public service, to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe anc ponder on the significance of the lenten season.

NOW, RESRAFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 18, 1987, a non-working special public holiday.
