BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 942

DECLARING FRIDAY, 16 JANUARY 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BOCAUE, PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, on Friday, 16 January 2015, the Municipality of Bocaue, Bulacan will mark the commemoration of, the heroism of General Eusebio Roque, a native of Bocaue;

WHEREAS, General Eusebio Roque presided over the Katipunan

community of Balangay Dimasalang and led the Battle of Kakarong de Sili in 1897; is

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Bocaue, Province of Bulacan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Ill, do hereby declare Friday, 16 January 2015; as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Bocaue, Province of Bulacan.
