BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 962

DECLARING FRIDAY, 22 AUGUST 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ESPERANZA, PROVINCE OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, on 22 August 2025, Friday, the Municipality of Esperanza, Province of Masbate will mark the celebration of the Lilas Festival;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Esperanza be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 22 August 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Esperanza, Province of Masbate.
