[ Proclamation No. 969, February 11, 1972 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CALOOCAN CITY.

WHEREAS, February 16, 1972, marks the tenth anniversary of the charter of Caloocan City; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the accomplishments and program of the City so as to stimulate the interest, cooperation and participation of the residents therein;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare February 16, 1972, as a special public holiday in the City of Caloocan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 11th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
