BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 970

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 24 JUNE 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TABACO, PROVINCE OF ALBAY

WHEREAS, on 24 June 2020, Wednesday, the City of Tabaco, Province of Albay, will mark the celebration of the Tabak Festival, a showcase of the city’s rich history, cultural diversity, and beautiful tourist attractions; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tabaco be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, Y. by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare : Wednesday, 24 June 2020, a special (non-working) day in the City of Tabaco, Province of Albay.
