BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 972

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 01 JULY 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SAN CARLOS, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, on 01 July 2020, Wednesday, the City of San Carlos, Province of Negros Occidental, will mark the celebration of its Charter Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of San Carlos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 01 July 2020, a special (non-working) day in the City of San Carlos, Province of Negros Occidental.
