BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 989

DECLARING FRIDAY, 15 AUGUST 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN

WHEREAS, the City of Tuguegarao, Province of Cagayan will mark the celebration of the Pavvurulun Afi Festival on 16 August 2025, which falls on a Saturday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Tugeugarao to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 15 August 2025, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 16 August 2025;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 15 August 2025, a special (non-working) day in the City of Tuguegarao, Province of Cagayan.
