PROCLAMATION NO. 985

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A PARCEL OF LAND, LOCATED AT DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COMPLEX, LEANDRO V. LOCSIN CAMPUS, LAGUNA BOULEVARD, BARANGAY MALAMIG, CITY OF BINAN, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA, AS A KNOWLEDGE, INNOVATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (KIST) ECOZONE, PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act (RA) No. 7916, or the “Special Economic Zone Act of 1995,” as amended by RA No. 8748, and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), |, FERDINAND R. MARCOS JR., President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate a parcel of land, to be known as the De La Salle University Innovation Hub, subject to the provisions of RA No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and PEZA Board of Directors Resolution No. 23-113 (s. 2023) and Resolution No. 17-375 (s. 2017), as amended by Resolution Nos. 19-124 (s. 2019) and 21-103 (s. 2021), located at De La Salle University Science and Technology Complex, Leandro V. Locsin Campus, Laguna Boulevard, Barangay Malamig, City of Bifian, Province of Laguna, with an area of Fifty Thousand

square meters (50,000 m7), more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land (Lot 2708-B-7-B-2, Psd-04-268517, being a portion of Lot 2708-B-7-B, Psd-04-165846), located at Barangay Malamig, City of Bifian, Province of Laguna, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the SE., along lines 1-2-3 by Lot 2711, Bifian Cadastre; on the SW., SE., NW., SW., NW., NE., and NW., along lines 3-4-5-6-7-8-9- 10-11-12 by Lot 2708-B-7-B-1, Psd-04-268517, and on the NE., along line 12-1 by Lot 2708-B-7-A, Psd-04-165846.
