DECLARING MONDAY, 27 APRIL 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAPU-LAPU

WHEREAS, Monday, 27 April 2015, marks the celebration of the Kadaugan sa Mactan, a cultural and historical event in the City of Lapu-Lapu;

WHEREAS, the Battle of Mactan is among the significant events in

Philippine history and serves as testimony to the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Filipinos; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lapu-Lapu be given full Opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
