PROCLAMATION NO. 996

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 19 AUGUST 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANGONO, PROVINCE OF RIZAL

WHEREAS, on 19 August 2020, Wednesday, the Municipality of Angono, Province of Rizal, will mark the signing of its independence as a municipality from the municipality of Binangonan, Rizal; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Angono be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 19 August 2020, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Angono, Province of Rizal.
