BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 999

DECLARING TUESDAY, 25 AUGUST 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, on 25 August 2020, Tuesday, the City of Iloilo will mark the celebration of its 83" Charter Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of lloilo be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public

health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Tuesday, 25 August 2020, a special (non-working) day in the City of lloilo.
