AN ACT CONVERTING THE KIANGAN – TINOC – BUGUIAS PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF KIANGAN AND TINOC, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO AND MUNICIPALITY OF BUGUIAS, PROVINCE OF BENGUET INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Kiangan – Tinoc – Buguias Provincial Road in the municipalities of Kiangan and Tinoc, Province of Ifugao and Municipality of Buguias, Province of Benguet shall be converted into a national road under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Section 2. The Secretary of the DPWH shall include in the Department’s program the repair, maintenance and improvement of the said road, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 3, 2011 and January 30, 2013, respectively.
