AN ACT DECLARING FEBRUARY 13 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY AND NO CLASS DAY IN SCHOOLS IN THE CITY OF PARAÑAQUE, METRO MANILA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS FOUNDATION DAY ANNIVERSARY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. February 13 of every year is declared a special working holiday and no class day in schools in the City of Parañaque, Metro Manila in commemoration of its foundation day anniversary.

Section 2. For work performed on a special working holiday, an employee is entitled to his/her regular wage.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on March 16, 2015, amended by the Senate of December 14, 2015, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 25, 2016.
