Republic Act No. 11471

AN ACT CREATING A BARANGAY TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY H-2 IN THE CITY OF DASMARINAS, PROVINCE OF CAVITE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Creation of Barangay H-2. -There is hereby created a barangay to be known as Barangay H-2 in the City of Dasmarinaa, Province of Cavite.

Section 2. Territorial Boundaries. - The territorial boundaries of Barangay H-2 are hereby deacribed as follows:

Description of Corners: Comers 1,9,28,34 & 63 are BBM Nos. 131, 62,132,133 & 130, respectively, all, 20 X 20 x 100 cm., corners 2 to 8 are centerline of

Mangubat Avenue; corners 10 to 22 are centerline of Imus River; corners 23 & 24 are PS cyl. Conc. Monument; corners 25 to 33 are centerline of road; corners 36 to 62 are centerline of Pasong Baka Creek; and corners 64 to 1 are centerline of road

Section 3. Conduct and Supervision of Plebiscite. - The plebiscite conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) pursuant to Provincial Ordinance No. 2000-004 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cavite, which ratified the creation of Barangay H-2 as proclaimed by the Plebiscite Board of Canvassers on 19 October 2003, shall serve as substantial compliance with the plebiscite requirement under Section 10 of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991", as amended.

Section 4. Incumbent Barangay Officials. -The incumbent elected barangay officials of Barangay H-2, City of Daamarinas shall continue to hold office until such time that their successors have been duly elected and qualified.

Section 5. Public Infrastructure and Facilities. - All public infrastructure and facilities existing therein at the time of the approval of this Act are hereby transferred without coat or compensation to and shallbe administered by the new barangay.

Section 6. Internal Revenue Allotment Shares. - Barangay H-2 shall be entitled to Internal Revenue Allotment (TRA) shares pursuant to Section 285 of the Local Government Code of 1991, asamended.

Section 7. Effectivity. - This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after ite publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on November 4, 2019 and March 9, 2020, respectively.
