Republic Act No. 11570

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

Mr. Bienvenido Morejon Marañon is hereby granted Philippine citizenship with all rights, privileges and prerogatives, as well as the duties and obligations appurtenant thereto under the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Section 2

Mr. Marañon shall take Oath of Allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines before an officer duly authorized to administer the same.

Section 3

Upon registration of the Oath of Allegiance, the Bureau of Immigration shall issue a Certificate of Naturalization to Mr. Marañon who shall thereupon enter into the full enjoyment of Philippine citizenship.

Section 4. Effectivity

This Act shall take effect after its publication in the Official Gazette or in  newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House nof Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on February 16, 2021, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on March 15, 2021, and which amendment was concurred in by the House of Representatives on May 18, 2021.
