RA 11591 - An Act Fixing the Last Day of Registration of Voters for the 2022 National and Local Elections

Republic Act No. 11591

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Last Day of Registration

The last day of registration of voters for the 2022 National and Local Elections shall be thirty (30) days after the effectivity of this Act.

Section 2. Repealing Clause

All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, memoranda, circulars, rules and regulations, and other issuances or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.

Section 3. Effectivity

This Act shall take effect immediately after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act was passed by the House of Representatives as House Bill No. 10261 and adopted by the Senate of the Philippines as an amendment to Senate Bill No. 2408 on September 27, 2021.
