Republic Act No. 11626

AN ACT CONVERTING THE LABASON CENTRAL SCHOOL IN BARANGAY LOPOC, MUNICIPALITY OF LABASON, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE INTO AN INTEGRATED SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LABASON INTEGRATED SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Labason Central School in Barangay Lopoc, Municipality of Labason, Province of Zamboanga del Norte is hereby converted into an integrated school to be known as the Labason Integrated School.

Section 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Labason Centra School hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Labason Integrated School.

Section 3. The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department’s program the operationalization of the Labason Integrated School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. The Secretary of Education shall issue the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act within ninety (90) days after its effectivity.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on December 2, 2020 and September 20, 2021, respectively.
