AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PINAMALAYAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO INTO A DISTRICT OFFICE TO BE KNOWN AS THE LTO DISTRICT OFFICE-PINAMALAYAN AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Pinamalayan, Province of Oriental Mindoro is hereby converted into a “Class B” District Office to be known as the Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office – Pinamalayan.

Section 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's programs the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on January 20, 2021 amended by the Senate of the Philippines on January 31, 2022, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on February 2, 2022.
