Republic Act No. 11749

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ENRIQUE B. MAGALONA IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, AND APPROPRIATING THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There is hereby established a District Office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to be located in the Municipality of Enrique B. Magalona in the Province of Negros Occidental.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's programs the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Enrique B. Magalona in the Province of Negros Occidental, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on May 25, 2021 and January 31, 2022, respectively.
