Republic Act No. 11799

AN ACT DECLARING APRIL 28 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AURORA TO COMMEMORATE THE DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF DOÑA AURORA ARAGON-QUEZON

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. April 28 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Province of Aurora to commemorate the death anniversary of Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon.

Section 2. The local government of the Province of Aurora shall plan and implement appropriate ceremonies for the annual observance of the death anniversary of Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon.

**Section 3.**This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was passed by the House of Representatives on March 2, 2022, amended by  the Senate of the Philippines on May 17, 2021, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 24, 2022.
