AN ACT RENAMING THE BOHOL ISLAND CIRCUMFERENTIAL ROAD, WHICH COMMENCES IN BARANGAY POBLACION III TOWARDS THE NORTH OF THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN, AND RETURNS TO BARANGAY POBLACION III FROM THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL, AS THE PRESIDENT CARLOS P. GARCIA CIRCUMFERENTIAL ROAD

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1

The Bohol Island Circumferential Road, which commences in Barangay Poblacion III, towards the north of the City of Tagbilaran, and returns to Barangay Poblacion III from the eastern side of the City of Tagbilaran in the Province of Bohol, is hereby renamed as The President Carlos P. Garcia Circumferential Road.

The road commences in Barangay Poblacion III, traversing Poblacion II, Cogon, Booy, Dao, Taloto, Ubujan and Manga in the City of Tagbilaran northward, Barangays Dela Paz, Upper Dela Paz, Salvador and Poblacion in the Municipality of of Cortes; Barangays Lincod, San Vicente, Anislag, Poblacion, Dipatlong, Bood, Lagtangon, Guinawon and Punta Cruz in the Municipality of Maribojoc; Barangays Sang-on, Tontonan, Cuasi, Tangnan, Pig-ot, Basdacu, Lintuan, Napo, Moto Sur, Moto Norte, Cogon Norte, Basac, Biasong, Canhangdon Occidental, Ubayon, Catagbacan Sur, Catagbacan Norte, Catagbacan, Handig, Cantumocad and Pondol in the Municipality of Loon; Barangays Tultugan, Liboron, Desamparados Santa Cruz, San Isidro, Bonbon, Bentig, Calunasan, Abucayan Sur, Lucob, Abucayan Norte and Mandaug in the Municipality of Calape; Barangays Cahayag, Panaytayon, Ilihan Norte, Pinayagan Sur, Pinayagan Centro, Ubojan, Tinangnan, Cabulihan and Macaas in the Municipality of Tubigon; Barangays Buacao, Lajog, Candajec, Poblacion Centro, Poblacion Sur, Comaang, Tangaran, Bacani and Nahawan in the Municipality of Clarin; Barangays Ubujan, U-og, Santo Rosarion, Dagohoy, Badiang, Lutao, Cogon, Poblacion, Ilaud, Luyo, Cagayn, Nabuad, Baogo and Lapacan Sur in the Municipality of Inabanga; Barangays Dait, Lapacan Sur, Dait, Cangawa, Bato, Sweetland, Poblacion, Asinan, Hunan and Cruz in the Municipality of Buenavista; Barangays Campao Oriental, Campao Occidental, Corte Baud, Tugas, Saguise, Poblacion, Taytay, Carlos P. Garcia, Salog, San Jose and Tulang in the Municipality of jetafe; Barangays Burgos Bagacay, Tanghaliguw, Santo Niño, San Jose, San Isidro, Balintawak, San Agustin and San Roque in the Municipality of Talibon; Barangays San Vicente, Poblacion, Guinobatan, Tagum Norte, Tagum Sur, Soom and Catoogan in the Municipality of Trinidad; Barangays Tuboran, Humayhumay, Camambugan, Tapon, Casate, Poblacion, Fatima, Bood Calanggaman, Bay-ang Imelda, Pag-asa, Lomangog, San Pascual, San Francisco and Ilihan in the Municipality of Ubay; Barangay Cabatang, Progreso, Poblacion, Napo and Pagahat in the Municipality of Alicia; Barangays Pagahat, La Uino, Lungsoda-an, San Isidro Boyo-an, Poblacion and Tugas in the Municipality of Candijay; Barangays Guio-ang, Trinidad, Tabajan, Sawang, Canhaway, Guinacot and Cabantian in the Municipality of Guidulman; Barangays Guinsularan, Langkis, Itum, San Antonio, San Pedro, Mawi, Madua Norte, Madua Sur and Alejawan in the Municipality of Duero; Barangays Alejawan Naatang, Tubod Mar, Larapan, Nausok, Pangdan, Poblacion, Pagina, Looc, Canupao, Bunga Mar, Cantagay Ipil and Can-uba in the Municipality of Jagna; Barangays Ulbujan East, Ulbujan West, Canayaon East, Canayaon West, Manaba, Poblacion East, Poblacion West, Lungsodaan East, Lungsodaan West, Cayam and Malinao in the Municipality of Garcia-Hernandez; Barangays Anas, Cutcutan Taug, Catug-an, Poblacion Oriental, Poblacion Occidental, Canmanico, Canduao Oriental and Canduao Occidental in the Municipality of Valencia; Barangays Tangohay, Taongan Can-andam, Taongan, Cabatuan, Sawang, Luyo, Balbalan Puangyuta and banban in the Municipality of Dimiao; Barangays Banban, Bonkokan Ubos, Malinao East, Nagsulay, Macalingan, Poblacion, Catugasan, Lomonay, Tiguis and Taug in the Municipality of Lila; Barangays Tayong Oriental, Tayong Occidental, Tocdog Dacu, Botoc Oriental, Botoc Occidental, Las Salinas Sur, Yanangan, Poblacion Ibabao, Poblacion Ubos, Villalimpia, Palo, Sagnap and Alegria Sur in the Municipality of Alburquerque; Barangays Leya, Montana, San Roque, Poblacion, San Vicente, Taguihon, Guiwanon and Santa Cruz in the Municipality of Baclayon; Barangays Bool, Mansasa, Poblacion I and returns to Barangay Poblacion III from the eastern side of the City of Tagbilaran.

Section 2

The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders, and circulars to implement the provisions of this Act within sixty (60) days from its effectivity.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on February 15, 2023 and November 6, 2023, respectively.
