Republic Act No. 12043

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION 1 OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11272, ENTITLED: "AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SPECIALTY HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, TO BE KNOWN AS ST. BERNADETTE CHILDREN AND MATERNITY HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 11272 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 1. There shall be established a specially hospital, known as St. Bernadette Children and Maternity Hospital, with a minimum capacity of one hundred (100) beds, to be located in the City of San Jose Del Monte, Province of Bulacan. The St. Bernadette Children and Maternity Hospital shall be under the administrative and technical supervision of San Jose Del Monte City, Province of Bulacan."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on December 12, 2023 and August 12, 2024, respectively.
