Republic Act No. 12062

AN ACT DECLARING JULY 2 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN PASIG CITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE "ARAW NG PASIG"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. July 2 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holidayt in Pasig City to be known as the Araw ng Pasig.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a national newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on September 5, 2022 and August 27, 2024, respectively.
