An Act Converting the Calateo Elementary School in Barangay Calateo, Municipality of Juban, Province of Sorsogon into an Integrated School to be Known as The Calateo Initegrated School, and Appropriating Funds Therefor

AN ACT CONVERTING THE CALATEO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY CALATEO, MUNICIPALITY OF JUBAN, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON INTO AN INTEGRATED SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CALATEO INTEGRATED SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Calateo Elementary School in Barangay Calateo, Municipality of Juban, Province of Sorsogon is hereby converted into an integrated school to be known as the Calateo Integrated School.

Section 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Calateo Elementary School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Calateo Integrated School.

Section 3. The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Calateo Integrated School, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. Within ninety (90) days from the approval of this Act, the Secretary of Education shall formulate the rules and regulations implementing the provisions of this Act.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a national newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on July 30, 2024 and September 23, 2024, respectively.
