Republic Act No. 12102

AN ACT DECLARING NOVEMBER 3 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KALIBO, PROVINCE OF AKLAN, TO BE KNOWN AS THE "KALIBO FOUNDATION DAY"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. November 3 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Municipality of Kalibo, Province of Aklan, to be known as the "Kalibo Foundation Day". Upon proclamation of the President, November 3 of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Kalibo, Province of Aklan.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on September 5, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on September 9, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on September 25, 2024.
