An Act Declaring January 22 of Every Year A Special Working Holiday in the Municipality of Guiguinto, Province of Bulacan, in Celebration of the Halamanan Festival

AN ACT DECLARING JANUARY 22 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUIGUINTO, PROVINCE OF BULACAN, IN CELEBRATION OF HALAMANAN FESTIVAL

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. January 22 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the Municipality of Guiguinto, Province of Bulacan, in celebration of the Halamanan Festival. Upon proclamation of the President, January of every year shall be a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Guiguinto, Province of Bulacan.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on November 28, 2022, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on September 9, 2024, and which amendments were concurred by the House of Representatives on September 25, 2024.
