Republic Act No. 12112

AN ACT ESTABLISHING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF RODRIGUEZ (MONTALBAN), PROVINCE OF RIZAL, A LEVEL II HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE NORTHERN TAGALOG REGIONAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, in the Municipality of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban), Province of Rizal, a Level II hospital with a two hundred (200)-bed capacity to be known as the Northern Tagalog Regional Hospital, which shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH).

Section 2. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department's program the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provision not affected shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 4. All laws, executive orders, issuances, and rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on August 9, 2023, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on August 19, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on September 24, 2024.
