AN ACT CONVERTING THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE URDANETA DISTRICT OFFICE INTO A CLASS "A" DISTRICT OFFICE, RENAMING THE SAME AS THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE BINALONAN DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The existing Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan (LTO Urdaneta District Office) is hereby converted into a Class "A" LTO district office and renamed as the LTO Binalonan District Office.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the LTO Binalonan District Office in the Fifth District of Pangasinan, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the LTO Urdaneta District Office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on November 29, 2023 and December 18, 2024, respectively.
