Republic Act No. 12132

AN ACT UPGRADING THE DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LINGAYEN, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN INTO A CLASS "B" DISTRICT OFFICE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Lingayen, Province of Pangasinan, is hereby upgraded into a Class "B" district office.

Section 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the upgrading into a Class "B" district office of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Lingayen, Province of Pangasinan, the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year appropriations of the LTO Lingayen District Office. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines on December 12, 2023 and December 18, 2024, respectively.
