Republic Act No. 12191

AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXTENSION OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYAMBANG, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, INTO A CLASS "C" DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Bayambang, Province of Pangasinan, is hereby converted into a Class "D" district office.

Section 2. The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Department's program the operationalization of Class "C" LTO District Office in the Municipality of Bayambang, Province of Pangasinan, the initial funding of which shall be charged against current year's appropriation of the LTO Bayambang Extension Office. Thereafter, the funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

This Act, which originated in the House of Representatives, was passed by the House of Representatives on September 4, 2024, amended by the Senate of the Philippines on December 18, 2024, and which amendments were concurred in by the House of Representatives on January 21, 2025.
