Republic Act No. 1278

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

The sum of twenty-three million pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as additional Counterpart Fund to carry out the purposes of Republic Act Numbered Six hundred and four.

Section 2

This appropriation shall be available for expenditure until exhausted even after June thirty, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven.

Section 3

This Act shall take effect July first, nineteen hundred fifty-six.
