RA 1499 - An Act Appropriating the Sum of One Million Pesos from the Proceeds of the Sale of Bond Issues Under Republic Act Numbered One Thousand for the Purchase of Animals to be Used for “Operation Livestock Dispersal”
Republic Act No. 1499
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
There is hereby appropriated out of any proceeds from the sale of bond issues under Republic Act Numbered One thousand the sum of one million pesos with which to purchase animals for the implementation of the plan known as "Operation Livestock Dispersal" by which animals are distributed to indigent deserving farmers under such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Section 2
This sum shall be disbursed by the Director of Animal Industry upon approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
