An Act Providing that in Any Criminal Proceeding Before a Justice of the Peace No Cost De Oficio Shall be Taxed Against the Municipality Concerned When the Case is Dismissed or the Defendant Acquitted

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. Any provisions of law to the contrary notwithstanding, in any criminal proceeding before a justice of the peace no cost de oficio shall be taxed against the municipality concerned when the case is dismissed or the defendant acquitted.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
