RA 1532 - An Act Transferring to the City of Baguio Certain Portions of the Public Domain Within the Baguio Townsite and Ordering the Issuance of Titles Thereto

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
Such portions of the public domain within the City of Baguio townsite as may be needed by said city for housing projects for low-salaried employees residing in said city and for the payment of the obligations of the national government under the provisions of Section 2553 of the Revised Administrative Code, which portions shall be determined by the City Council, with the approval of the President of the Philippines, are hereby transferred to the City of Baguio. The procedure established by the Public Land Act relating to the disposition of land of the public domain shall govern the disposal of these lands.
Section 2
The register of deeds shall issue to the City of Baguio the corresponding titles to such lands after the completion of the survey and the approval of the plans and technical descriptions thereof.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
