Republic Act No. 1563

An Act Providing for the Establishment of an Abaca Seed Farm in the Municipality of Boac, Marinduque, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds for the Purposes

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos or so much thereof as may be necessary is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of establishing an abaca seed farm in the Municipality of Boac, Province of Marinduque.

Section 2. The Director of the Bureau of Plant Industry shall undertake such steps necessary to implement the purposes of this Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
