Republic Act No. 1679

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Section twenty of Commonwealth Act Numbered Fifty-one, otherwise known as the Charter of the City of Davao, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Thirteen hundred sixty-eight, is further amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 20. The Assistant City Attorneys. -The city attorney shall have five assistants who shall each receive a compensation as follows: the first assistant, three thousand nine hundred sixty pesos; the second assistant, three thousand seven hundred twenty pesos; the third assistant, three thousand four hundred eighty pesos; the fourth assistant, three thousand three hundred pesos; and the fifth assistant, three thousand one hundred twenty pesos."

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
