Republic Act No. 1723

An Act Creating the Barrios of Baras and Candahug in the Municipality of Palo, Province of Leyte

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The barrio of Baras-Candahug in the Municipality of Palo, Province of Leyte, is hereby divided into two barrios, one to be known as the barrio of Baras and the other as the barrio of Candahug.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
