Republic Act No. 1732

An Act Creating Certain Barrios in the Municipality of Babatngon, Province of Leyte

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The sitios of Biasong and Nababoy in the Municipality of Babatngon, Province of Leyte, are hereby converted into barrios, the former to retain its present name and to comprise and include the sitios of Lube, Ubayan, Calcagan, Cancamaoy, Opong and Biasong proper; and the latter to be known as barrio San Ricardo and to comprise and include all sitios within the jurisdiction bounded by the Malubago creek on the south and Tab-ang river on the north.

Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
