Republic Act No. 2675

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1

Section one of Republic Act Numbered Sixteen hundred and nine is amended to read as follows:

Sec. 1. Declaration of Policy. -It is hereby declared to be the national policy to encourage the more rapid expansion of agricultural production, and to increase farm productivity by making available to the farmers adequate fertilizers at reasonable prices. As used in this Act, the term ‘farmers’ includes fishpond owners or operators."

Section 2

This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
