RA 3044 - An Act Authorizing the University of the Philippines to Establish a Pay Pavilion in the Philippine General Hospital and to Contract Loans for Such Purpose
Republic Act No. 3044
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
To enable the University of the Philippines to meet its increasing responsibilities, said University is hereby authorized to establish a pay pavilion within the present Philippine General Hospital compound.
Section 2
The President of the University of the Philippines is hereby authorized to borrow for the above-stated purpose an amount not exceeding three million pesos from the Government Service Insurance System, the Social Security System, and/or other government financing entities, which are also hereby authorized to grant such loans.
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
