RA 3592 - An Act Increasing the Base Pay of Commissioned Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The monthly base pay of Commissioned Officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines shall not be less than the following:
| Second Lieutenant or Ensign | ₱320.00 |
| First Lieutenant or Lieutenant Junior Grade | 370.00 |
| Captain or Lieutenant Senior Grade | 450.00 |
| Major Lieutenant Commander | 550.00 |
| Lieutenant Colonel or Commander | 700.00 |
| Colonel or Captain (PN) | 900.00 |
| Brigadier General or Commodore | 1,100.00 |
| Major General or Rear Admiral | 1,300.00 |
| Lieutenant General or Chief or Staff | 1,500.00 |
Section 2
The rates of pay prescribed by Executive Order Numbered Twenty-three dated October first nineteen hundred and sixty-two is modified accordingly.
Section 3
The increase in salaries as provided for in this Act shall be paid from out of any funds in the National Treasury, not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary to pay the increased salaries as provided for in this Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
Section 4
This Act shall take effect on July first nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
