An Act Creating a Highway Engineering District in the Province of Leyte to Comprise the Fourth Congressional District

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the fourth congressional district of Leyte, shall be constituted into one highway engineering district, which shall be known as the Second Highway Engineering District of Leyte, with headquarters in Ormoc City.

Section 2. The city engineer of Ormoc City, and the disbursing officer of the Ormoc City engineering office shall be the ex-officio district engineer and the ex-officio disbursing officer, respectively, of said Second Highway Engineering District of Leyte.

Section 3. All existing laws or parts thereof, executive orders and administrative regulations contrary to the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
