An Act Changing the Name of the Bureau of Public Libraries to the National Library

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. The name of the Bureau of Public Libraries is hereby changed to that of The National Library.

Section 2. All references to the Bureau of Public Libraries in laws, executive orders, rules and regulations shall henceforth be understood to refer to The National Library.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
