RA 395 - An Act Making the Positions of Mayor and Vice-Mayor in the City of Bacolod Elective

Republic Act No. 395
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1
The positions of mayor and vice-mayor of the City of Bacolod shall be elective, notwithstanding provisions to the contrary in the Act creating said city and amendments thereto. They shall hold office for a term of four years, and shall be elected by the qualified voters of the city.
Section 2
This Act shall take effect on the next regular election for provincial and city officials.
